FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to start with confidence.

Do I need to be a Bitcoin expert to use SecureBitPass?+

No. Organizers run events from a classic interface. Bitcoin and Counterparty work in the background as the security and ownership layer for tickets.

What is a Counterparty ticket “asset”?+

A digital token issued on the Counterparty protocol (on top of Bitcoin). It proves you own the right of entry — impossible to forge like a PDF or photocopied paper ticket.

Which wallets are compatible?+

Horizon Wallet, XCP Wallet and other compatible Counterparty wallets. We guide attendees step by step at purchase.

What do Single-entry, Multi-entry and Season Pass mean?+

Single-entry: one entry (visit, concert). Multi-entry: multiple accesses (multi-day festival, zones). Season / monthly pass: one asset for a month, a season or a museum/zoo membership, with a collectible at period end.

How does door control work?+

Staff scan a QR or verify asset ownership. Depending on ticket type, entry is invalidated or decremented — no fraudulent double use.

Do tickets really become collectibles?+

Yes. After the event, the asset stays in the attendee wallet as proof of attendance — a lasting keepsake, not a disposable ticket.

What are the exact fees?+

Four options: Starter CHF 349 per event (max 600 entries); Institution CHF 349/month for museums and zoos with monthly batch (max 600 entries/month); Standard 3–6%; white-label on quote. See the Pricing page.

Can I keep my brand (white-label)?+

Yes. Domain, colors, logo and purchase journey on-brand, powered by SecureBitPass infrastructure.

Is SecureBitPass a crypto investment platform?+

No. We use Bitcoin only as security and ownership technology for tickets. No speculative pitch — focus on organizers and attendees.
